Local performers will also be featured throughout the day such as, Danza Queztalcoatl and the Utah Hispanic Dance Alliance.
Admission to Fiesta Mexicana’s celebration is free to the public with the purchase of a Utah State Fair ticket. The festival will be held from 11am- 10pm. A solemn civic ceremony “El Grito” de Independencia” will be held by the Consul of Mexico, Ignacio Rios Navarro.
The event has already drawn an impressive list of major sponsors including, Rancho Markets, Zions Bank, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Jarritos, Maceys, and Workers Compensation Fund among others.
